FAJER ALMEAMARI¶
Who’s Fajer¶
I grew up and for the longest, I was always affected by my surroundings. My green bedroom that made me so energetic. The openness in my grandmother’s house that radiated warmth. That coffee shop that I always go to when I am feeling lost. Even the sense of belonging the alleyway in Manama evokes in my heart. And on that, I behaved. It was my first year in architecture that I have realized, it is the space that made me feel the way I felt. The color of my room. That sunray that penetrates my grandmother’s huge windows. The openness in the coffee shop, and the interactions in the alleyways of Manama. They all affected me, unconsciously.
For better or worse, human beings are the products of their environment. As the built environment shapes our behavior. Hence, it affects our level of creativity, mood, and productivity. This is why I was always attracted to my major. I am enthusiastic, recently graduated Architect with interest in human behavior, urban planning, and research. I’m actively working to develop my skills and extending my horizon to maximize my potential.
I have a bachelor degree in Architecture from the university of Bahrain. I believe that volunteering has a significant influence on shaping my skills and interests. I started my journey with humble steps as I participated in different conferences, programs and events planning. As well volunteered to organize platforms that helped the younger generation to understand their personality and behaviour and develop it creatively. Such experiences taught me how to attract any target audience’s attention and solve problems in innovative ways.
