Delving into my FABLAB story!¶

Assalamu Aleikum or Peace be upon you! I am Zeyad AlSakhi, a computer science enthusiast interested in the integration of artificial intelligence within the optical industry.

Though, I am undoubtedly one of the younger students to undertake this course, I find this a great opportunity to expand my knowledge and gain valuable real-world experiences in which I will hopefully acquire a valuable skillset and mindset for the future!

Furthermore, I believe through this course I will be able to make my passions and interests a reality. I will attempt at assembling a robot that will take in customer inputs and algorithmically determmine customers’ preferences in regard to the products offered by a ‘theoretical’ company including prescription lenses, sunglasses, contact lenses, frames, and much more.

I have published a paper around the mathematics of one of the most important algorithms within modern cryptography - the RSA algorithm.

Exploring the Retail Industry: Feasibility of E-commerce¶

In addition, I have published a paper where I dug deep into the possibility to digitalize certain processes within a business in which I backed up through primary and secondary research.
