2D Drawings¶
cuttle¶
cuttle is an online 2D website that you can use to design, this is my first time introduced to this software and I found it really simple and time-saving.
when you first open it this is what the page looks like, where you can click on (new project) to start a new project and you will find your previous designs next to it, and below that there are some examples that can be really helpful.
I drew a simple star in cuttle and I will take you through the steps to do so…

Adobe Illustrator (vector)¶
for the 2d drawings, the first software that I choose is Illustrator to create a nice illustration.
I drew a small cute watermelon
The first step was drawing a circle and fill it with the color that I wanted

then I copied the circle and reduce the size, change the color, and put it on top of the bigger circle, and I kept doing this until I had 4 layers

now it is time to draw the seeds, I start to draw a circle and then choose the line and draw some sort of tringle connected to the circle to form the shape of the seed and then I joined them and fill the whole seed with black color and put them randomly on the watermelon

3D Models¶
3D Max¶
The first 3D software that I choose is 3d MaX.3D max is well knowon softwere for modelng from diffrent feelied it is widly used in architecture to model the buildings and it also used to model furneture and interior designers use it alot, you also can model cartoon carter in it and the lest go on…, so i decided to use it since i,m familier to it as an Aarchitecture student, and I wanted to create a simple chair.
I am going to take you through the to create this cute chair
select the boundaries of the box, and then click on extrude to extrude these selected sages, which will act as the back of the chair
And we have FINAL PRODUCT!!!

sketchup¶
The second software for the 3D modeling that I used is SketchUp, which is also widely used in architecture, a lot of people prefer SketchUp over 3D max since it is simpler and it doesn’t take that long to learn, but I believe that each software has its own features that make it stand out from the other.
this time I wanted to design a lamp, and I will take you through the steps.
Tinkercad¶
Tinkercad is an online website that you can design in it and I have to say, it is so simple to use and save a lot of time and energy, a lot of the things are already there and you can just choose them and adjust some of the things in it and it would be ready, as simple as that.
this is my first time using Tinkercad so I was just exploring it.
this is how the screen looks like when you sign in
when you want to start a new project you can click on 1 (create a new design).
and below it, you can find your previous designs.
