6. Large format CNC (computer controlled Machining)¶
This week I worked on a chair design but in a different way by combining it with a home design
Informations about the CNC machine¶
A computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine uses a program to control the operation of machine tools such as lathes and mills. It takes a raw material (metal, plastic, etc.) and cuts, grinds, drills, turns, mills, and/or shapes it into parts that meet exact specifications.
MY DESIGN¶
first of all , before starting any 3D printing design you need to specify your dimensions and your design.
So I choosed this design from pinterest
Then I did my calculations
Afterthat, I,ve started my design using Fusion360 Fisrt of all , I’ve used the parameters because this tool will help you fixing your dimensions without damaging your design
then I’ve started sketching
then I’ve uploaded in the lab computer and start printing using the CNC
and this is the final result
