Hi! I am Osama Abbas. I am a mechanical engineering student based in Bahrain, my areas of interests are quality management, designing, 3D printing.

Previous work¶
My first start of my work career was when I joined a perfume retail company called Aljassar Perfumes in 2018. My work title is “Salesman” and my tasks are:
- Assisting customers with the buying process.
- Achieve monthly targets.
- Training new staff.
- Daily transactions report.
- Counting inventory when needed.
- Respond to customer complaints by phone or face-to-face.
- Managing deliveries.

University senior project¶
My University senior project was “Building a 3D Printer”, which I worked on with two other students. We used an open source 3D printer design with suitable mechanisms and in terms of the material/parts sourcing, we used Amazon.com for the parts that we could not find locally and we bought/manufactured the rest. The firmware we used is Marlin Firmware, it is an open source firmware that we edited to suit our printer.
