This week I worked on defining my final project idea and started to getting used to the documentation process.

Research

Git is a software application that allows you to monitor changes in any group of files. It’s typically used to coordinate work among programmers who are working on source code together during software development. Speed, data integrity, and support for dispersed, non-linear processes are among its objectives.

This tutorial will explain to you how to make, edit, and document your website.

1- Sign in to Fab Cloud. 2

2- Click on this to get into your site for Fab Academy. 3

3- This is where you can edit your website and add your documentation. 4

4- Click on mkdocs.yml to edit your website. 5

5- Click on Edit. 6

6- Add your name, social media, and you can also change the colors, fonts, and the form of your website. When you are done, scroll down and click on commit changes. 7-8

7- You can add files this way. 9

8- To prepare for Atom software copy your URL first. 10

9- Download Atom software and Git software and then run Git software. This page will open to you and you will have to paste the URL you copied in step 8. 11

10- Then you have to enter your nickname and password. 12

11- Now open Atom software and open your folder. 13-14

12- Try to push something to the archive. You can see for example the sentence ‘Test test from atom !!!!!!’. Commit message is the place where you can write a message to identify the commit or the change you have pushed. The button Commit to master is to push to archive. At the bottom you will see the loading which states ‘Pushing’. 15

13- Go to your website and check your changes. 16

14- Now you can edit and document in your website. 17
