Parametric Design¶
Firstly, we started by creating a circle, then creating 3 parametric rectangles in it.
Then we create another 3 parametric rectangles below the upper rectangle, the problem with this design is that the rectangles were so close to each other so the laser cut it as a one bigger rectangle as shown below.
So the lower rectangle was pushed more downward as shown below.
After laser cutting this design, i found out that the design was incorrect,the circle was too small and the upper rectangle was close to the edge to a point where it got ripped.
The diameter of the circle was increased to give space for the two rectangles to fit easilty without being close to the edge and ripping,also rectangles are designed to act as handles for the parametric design.
This is the laser cut design.
After copying the design and pasting it a few more times,we insert the rectangle into the rectangular holes and assemble all pieces.
