Individual assignment

In my mind I was thinking to make a flower so I used TinkerCad to search for a design and I found this ..

TinkerCad design

I chose this flower and changed the colors of it, Also, I edited the sizes for it to make it suitable with the requirements:

The design length and width: 55mm

The design height: 7mm

Smallest gap: 1.6mm

Milling Steps

1- First, there was a bubble on the wax so we surface it by the software

2- Here I put a tape to stick the wax on the machine

3- Then, I edit the origin of the drill to start the milling

4- Here are the software steps from (1-5)

Step 1: Size and orientation

Step 2: Select type of milling

Step 3: Create tool path

Step 4: Preview details

Step 5: Perform Cutting by using 3/32 INCH BN

After milling

This is the result after 1 hour ..

I cleaned the wax dust and this is how it looks

Moulding

After cleaning the wax, we have to create the mould by using Silicone ,the two-component silicone rubbers (A+B) come in a range of harnesses from extremely soft to medium. They offer performance qualities that no other mold rubber possesses and may be used to create molds that are poured, brushed, or sprayed onto a model.

First I TARE the scale after putting the cup on it to make it zero, then I added 30 grams from base A. Then the same step for base B.

After that, I put B on A and mix it well, and again pour the mixture in A cup to mix also

Finally, I poured the silicone on the wax and waited for 1 day to be done

Casting

For casting, I used Resin, which are liquid polymers that may be produced either naturally or artificially. Their main advantage is the ability to change from a liquid to a solid, uniform form that may be customized. with 9:15 gram ratio for the resin and hardener.

Next, I mixed both the resin and the hardener together, and I added a yellow color to make it colorful

Then, I spilled it in the mould, also it needs 1 day to be done

This is the result after 1 day

After I removed the mould, this is the final step
