7. Large format CNC (computer controlled Machining)¶

This week started with having knowledge about CNC parameters and how to work with it. Also, I designed my own file to make it out of Plywood by CNC.

for me i will use fusion360 to make my design which is round table.

As you see below, I prepared my design.

Here I sent my design to the computer which is connected to the CNC machine

Before the cutting process, I adjusted the angles to facilitate the installation process as you can see in the two pictures below.

Here we fix the plywood sheet by screws.

Here we determine the origin point and make sure the height from the sheet is fine.

Here after the machine finished cutting, I saw that there was more space, so I made another table for my friend.

Here we remove the screws to take the parts.

Here I saw that the holes need sandpaper to expand and remove impurities.

After finishing cleaning and sanding, this is my final design (Round table)

Here my friend Mohammed told me that the table may be weak and cannot bear to put things on it, so I sat on it to prove its strength.
