Welcome to My FabLab Journey! ๐ŸŒŸ

“The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” โ€“ Steve Jobs ๐Ÿ’ก

Greetings! I’m thrilled to have you here, joining me on this exciting adventure through creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning. This website is your gateway to explore my journey, where engineering meets imagination, and every project is a step toward mastering the art of digital fabrication.

What You’ll Find Here:

About Me

Get to know the mind behind the projects! Discover my passion for mechanical engineering, my love for creative design, and how I blend technology with everyday life. Learn about the inspirations that drive my work and the goals Iโ€™m striving to achieve.

Games ๐ŸŽฎ

Take a break and dive into some of the web-based games Iโ€™ve developed. From classic challenges to innovative twists, each game is a reflection of my coding journey, with a special focus on gameplay mechanics and interactive design.

Final Project ๐ŸŒฑ

Witness the culmination of my learning in an ambitious project that merges technology with sustainability. Follow along as I bring my vision to life, from initial concepts to the final build, combining electronics, sensors, and creative design in a way thatโ€™s both functional and inspiring.

Weekly Assignments ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

Every week brought new challenges and learning experiences. Hereโ€™s a sneak peek into the assignments that shaped my journey:

  • Week 1:

    • GitLab, Git Bash, VS Code: Explore my first steps into version control, command-line magic, and code editing. Learn how I set up my development environment and began tracking my projects.
  • Week 2:

    • Cuttle [2-D], Fusion [3-D], SolidWorks [2-D & 3-D]: Dive into my exploration of design software, from vector-based 2D designs to complex 3D models. See how I created precise, parametric designs ready for fabrication.
  • Week 3:

    • Laser Cutting Machine, Silhouette Studio: Experience the precision and creativity of laser cutting. Iโ€™ll show you how I transformed digital designs into physical objects and the tools I used to perfect each cut.
  • Week 4:

    • Embedded Programming (ESP32 Kids IOT STEM Microcontroller), Arduino IDE, Thonny: Step into the world of embedded systems. Follow my experiments with microcontrollers, where coding meets hardware, and see how I programmed them for various tasks.
  • Week 5:

    • Testing Input & Output Devices with ESP32 and Arduino UNO: Join me as I tested different electronics, from simple sensors to complex systems, crucial for my final project. Each test was a step closer to integrating technology seamlessly into my designs.
  • Week 6:

    • CNC Machining (Large Format): Dive into my experience with large format CNC machines! I designed wooden parts for press-fit assembly, working through software challenges and perfecting my cuts. From toolpaths to real-world assembly, this was a hands-on week of learning how digital designs come to life on a large scale.
  • Week 7:

    • Molding & Casting: This week, I explored the art of molding and casting. Using a wax block and silicone rubber, I created a mold of a quirky character and cast it in resin. The result? A unique design, with all the fun (and challenges) of getting it just right. Plus, a few unexpected surprises!
  • Week 8:

    • 3D Printing & Scanning: This week was all about bringing digital models into the physical world. I tested two 3D printersโ€”Creality K1 and Ultimaker 2+โ€”to compare their output quality, precision, and speed. Alongside printing, I scanned objects to capture intricate details for future designs. It was a fascinating look into how digital fabrication merges with reality!

And thatโ€™s just the beginning! ๐ŸŒŸ

Feel free to explore each section, and don’t hesitate to reach out if something sparks your interest or curiosity. Letโ€™s embark on this journey together, where every click brings you closer to the heart of digital fabrication!
