About me

Greetings!

"The only way to do great work is to love what you do." โ€“ Steve Jobs

Welcome to my website. My name is Ahmed Alaali, and I am an undergraduate student at Bahrain Polytechnic, studying Mechanical Engineering. At the time of this website’s publication, I am in my fourth year and about to start my final semester to obtain my Bachelor’s degree.

I decided to pursue Mechanical Engineering because I have always had a passion for understanding how things work and for solving complex problems through innovative design and technology.

Purpose of This Website

The purpose of this website is to document my experiences and the skills I have acquired during my training at FabLab Academy. Here, you will find insights into the engineering skills I have developed, including proficiency with CAD software, 3D printing, and various manufacturing processes.

My Interests

  1. Gaming Enthusiast: I love playing video games on my PlayStation 4. While I enjoy online multiplayer games, I have recently found a preference for story-driven games that offer a more relaxed experience. I guess you could say I’m in a phase where I prefer games that don’t give me a headache ๐Ÿ˜‚.

  2. Avid TV and Movie Watcher: I enjoy watching TV shows, especially while eating. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I believe food tastes better with some entertainment ๐Ÿ˜‚. Currently, I am into anime and cartoons. When it comes to movies, I prefer watching them with friends or family. Watching movies alone feels too long and boring, but with others, the mid-play commentsโ€”whether annoying or funnyโ€”make the experience much more enjoyable.

  3. Sports Enthusiast: I enjoy playing various sports, including football, basketball, table tennis, and swimming. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be a tie between football and basketball. Unfortunately, it’s been a while since I played basketball because my friends have shifted their interest to football, which made me transition as well. Now, I play football weekly, often as a right-back or left-back defender. This shift has rekindled my childhood love for the sport.
