8. Large format CNC (computer controlled Machining)¶
This week I worked on defining my final project idea and started to getting used CNC machine.
CNC machine¶
Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining is an advanced manufacturing process that uses computer software to control the movement of tools and machinery.
Key Components of CNC Machines¶
Controller: The brain of a CNC machine, the controller interprets the DXF and sends precise instructions to motors and other components. Spindle: The spindle holds and rotates the cutting tool or workpiece, depending on the type of CNC machine. Tooling: CNC machines use a variety of cutting tools, which are often changed manually before operation to suit different machining needs. Motors and motors: They are responsible for moving the machine components along the various axes with high precision. This week I worked on defining my final project idea and started to getting used to the documentation process. hi
