About me¶
Hello all! My name is Khaled Khazam, and I am currently a job seeker training in Fablab Bahrain. One of my favorite hobbies is gaming, especially the shooters and platforming genres. One of my favorite shooting games is the Borderlands fanchise, and Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog franchises for platforming games. Other favorite hobbies of mine are strength training and swimming. I went to a few gyms the last couple years and joined a swimming training club when I was in my teens.
My background¶
I graduated high school from Al Hedaya Al Khalifiya Secondary school in Chemistry and Biology specilization with an excellence grade at June 2019 and graduate from Bahrain Polytechnic with a Mechanical Engineering Bachelor at June 2024.
Previous projects¶
Junior project¶
For my junior project in my third year, the idea of the project was to create a four-seater security golf cart. According to the rubric of the project, the first course will include theoretical information about the suspension system of the car, the chassis, and the materials that will be used to construct each of them. In the next course, the work will be more practical, and teams for each category regarding manufacturing, designing, cutting, and machining were distributed to finish the golf cart more efficiently in terms of time and task completion. At the end of the practical course, a virtual interview was conducted individually for each member, reflecting their experience following a rubric that was assigned at the start of the manufacturing part of the project.
Senior project¶
As for my graduation (senior) project, I wrote an article about work-related mosculokeletal disorders (WMSDs) due to prolonged standing during welding that I will be publishing soon with the help of my supervisor since the proposal for this project’s topic. The article was assisted with the data provided by the survey that I created with my supervisor’s authority and was answered by a fraction of students who have some experience in welding. It took me some time to collect the data needed for analysis due to not many students having at least some basic knowledge about gas-metal arc welding, but fortunately I managed to get almost 30 participants, which is decent due to the mentioned reason.
