MY BACKGROUND¶
I am the eldest of two sisters and one brother, raised in Ras Romman, a village at the heart of Manama. My childhood there was filled with joy, despite limited resources for creativity. I fondly recall frequenting the village library to draw, often winning prizes for my artwork. Days were spent playing in the football field, constructing sandcastles, and exploring the park.
My fascination with video games, particularly The Sims, centered on designing homes rather than playing with characters. I also indulged in crafts, delighting in gifting them to my cousins. Those early experiences shaped my love for creativity and exploration.
Driven by my passion for science, particularly physics, I’ve always been fascinated by understanding the mechanisms behind natural phenomena—such as predicting weather forecasts, exploring outer space, unraveling the mysteries of the solar system, and comprehending the intricacies of the internet. It’s for these reasons that I chose physics as my major
PREVIOUS WORK¶
My senior research project was about the doping effect on the structural and optical properties of Bi and Cr codoped anatase TiO₂ nanoparticles. It was an interesting subject, as I observed changes in the structural and optical properties of the material after codoping and how this will benefit various modern applications.
