8. Moulding and casting

This week, I learned about the process of creating casting molds. By being meticulous at every step of the process, I was able to get excellent results in terms of mold quality and accuracy.

Group Task

We were tasked as a group to test and analyze several materials for their performance in molding and casting. Mohammed and Sayed Ali, two of my colleagues, were in charge of documenting our group’s progress and findings.

Individual Task

For my solo assignment, I did the process of designing and creating a mold and then casting a mold to get the final result.

I worked on Fusion360 to design a 2.5D crystal.
