3. 3D Printing and Scanning¶
This week is an introduction to leanrn types of 3D printing machines. We have test the 3D printer, learn about different types of printers and films used, and at the end of the week we study how to scan something.
Type of filaments¶
There are many type of filaments for example, there are
PLA (Polylactic Acid):¶
- Easy to print with and environmentally friendly.
- Ideal for beginners.
- Not suitable for high-temperature applications.
Nylon:¶
- Strong and durable.
- Ideal for mechanical parts.
- Requires a dry environment for storage.
