6. Large format CNC (computer controlled Machining)

This week I worked on defining my final project idea and started to getting used to the documentation process.

This week we worked on CNC machine where we created owr own fixed it together. We were asked to design an object that has joints.

I used Fusion software to create my design which was a chair.

I first sketched the seater and then sketched the back part.

I then sketched the slanted part of the legs chair and ectrude all drawn parts.

After that, I exported my work as DXF file so I can start cutting.

VCARVE PRO

VCARVE Pro is a software that is connected to the CNC machine. I edited the angles of my sketches by adding dog bone fillet as it makes joining other parts together easily.
