3. Computer controlled cutting¶
Task¶
Individual assignments:
1- Design, lasercut, and document a parametric press-fit construction kit, which can be assembled in multiple ways. Account for the lasercutter kerf. 2- cut something on the vinylcutter
Press fit¶
a simple design was made on AutoCAD, to test the right width of the openings for the press fit, and it turned out that 1.6mm is best suited for 2mm thick cardboard.
Vinyl cutter¶
for this task, a sticker is asked to be made on one of the vinyl cutter machines. the design picked for the sticker was downloaded online from this website.
