8. Moulding and casting

in this week i learned how to do wax casting and how to mold it

for the mold we used a special type of wax

for the material used as layup , i used the Resin

Process steps:

Creating the Preform. Preform Layup. Closing Mold. Injection Phase. Curing Phase

Mix ratio

10 epoxy resin:6 epoxy hardener

here i used fuiosn to design my part

### this is the cating machine that removes the material that we dont need from the wax to make the shape we need

and this is the wax that we cat from it

the work process

first we put the wax under the machine and set it up

then we put the design we made by fusion in the program

after that we turn the machine on to do its job

this is the waist of the wax , you can recycle it to use it again

then we put the layout material in the wax

we shold leave it for 24 hours at least

final result

this is the result of my work

problem i faced

actually i did not face any problems accept on which is , that i removed the piece on time put it wasn’t completely dry , so i had to put it back again and wait to another day
