Inner Structure
The purpose of the Inner Structure
Before digging in the process of making the Inner Structure, we must first be aware of the role of the Inner Structure in this project:
The Inner Structure will be a mirrored two-part structure with the sole purpose of making the CNC mechanism and holding the pizza dough container.
- The Inner Structure will hold the container in the center of the project.
- The Inner Structure will hold the electric motors which will give the container the ability to move in the X and Y axises.
- The Inner Structure will be hold on the shafts that will connect the Inner Structure with the two sides of the Outer Structure. Then using the motors, the Inner Structure will be able to move on that axis, and consequently, the container.
- The two mirrored parts will be connected with two shafts which will hold the container, and using the power of the motors and a motor belt, the container will be able to move on the second axis.
Planning for the design of the Structure
First step of the planning for the design is taking the all dimensions and sizes into consideration in order to perfect the the dimensions of the structure.

Second step is to make a sacrifice structure in order to tests the shapes and make sure that the structure fit the motors, shafts, etc...
