Vinly Cutting¶
What does vinyl cutting do?¶
This blade is used to cut out shapes and letters from sheets of thin self-adhesive plastic (vinyl). The vinyl can then be stuck to a variety of surfaces depending on the adhesive and type of material.
Steps¶
First I searched for a picture
then I uploaded the picture in Cricut Design software
I selected Complex option to edit the picture where I removed the background of it and leave the drawing I want only
After installing the sticky paper I proceed and press Make It to print and cut my design

Joint test¶
First we tested the best fit for joints by making a rectangle and we gradually made the measurements as it it is clear in the pictures
We found out that our best fir is 5.80mm

Designing¶
I used Fusion 360 to design a circle and added 4 joints in it
then I have saved the file as DFX type and send it to the machine software to cut the design for me following those steps
This is was the final product I got after cutting and after installing all parts this was the result
