Indivdual work

I have decided to create a small wooden scooter by using the CNC machine.

The Base

First thing I had to do is the base of the scooter where all four wheels and every peice would be attached to it.

The Sides

The Front & Back pieces

The Handle

The Seat

Making the joints

Note: In the creation of the scooter components, I use the combine function to create the hole for the joints. So in theory, all the components would fit easily together after cutting.

Here what it looked like after assembly:

Issues with assembly

I face a major issue which was the length of the pieces were a bit longer than the holes, I double checked the design and everything but could not find the reason for it to happen.

As a result, the pieces needed some filing and to be hit by a hammer just for them to fit, which also resulted in some deterioration in the pieces as shown below.
