About me¶
Hi! I am Sadeq Ameel Moahmed. I am 23 years old and i was born in a nice city called Manama in Bahrain. Right now Salmabad is the place where i live. I am a chemical engineer that is expected to graduate from University of Bahrain after the summer training in SEP 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree. I did my senior project with two colleague, which was ” Evaluation of Wastewater Treatment Plant Performance Using Multivariate Statistical Analysis” and it was supervised by Dr.Zainab Ali as well as Dr. Qais Abdullatif. As for my hobbies, i like travelling, playing video games and watching series.
Project A¶
My senior project which i already mentioned earlier that it was an ​Evaluation of Wastewater Treatment Plant Performance Using Multivariate Statistical Analysis. So, in wastewater treatment plants, different quality parameters such as COD, BOD, TSS etc. are recorded of the influent and effluent daily to monitor and control the treatment process. Therefore, multivariate statistical analysis and predictive models were done to study the large data set obtained from Muharraq STP for the year 2019. Five principal components were retrieved and they represent about 70.7% of the total variation in data set and a minimal 29.3% loss of information. Finally, regression analysis was done to produce predictive models for variables that were highly correlated (such as BOD) with related specific measured quality parameters (such as TSS, COD, etc.).
